Popular French-inspired bakery Paris Baguette Hawaii launches new mobile app

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow ) – Paris Baguette, a bakery-cafe originated in South Korea, now allows customers to order ahead for pick up from its downtown Honolulu location and plans to open a second location in Hawaii this year.

Located at 1000 Bishop St., Paris Baguette General Manager Mina Yoon says the new mobile app “makes it convenient when you’re heading to the office or meeting to order you coffee and breakfast or lunch ahead of time.”

“This version of the app has full mobile ordering capabilities for all items on the menu we offer that day,” Yoon said.

Started in 1988 in Seoul, the cafe has won over fans with its fluffy handcrafted pastries, cakes, sandwiches, salads and other savory and sweet goods made fresh daily. With over 200 menu items, the bakery offers easy grab-and-go options, good for people who want quality food but have limited time to sit and eat.

Yoon, Lead Baker Fernanda Morales and Lead Caker Angelina Gonzalez joined HNN’s Sunrise to talk about opening the store in February and showcase some of their best-selling products and seasonal offerings, such as pizzettas, cookies, macaroons and donuts. This summer, Paris Baguette is featuring a variety of lemon-flavored items, like their lemon-citrus cake.

“You can also order our cakes ahead of time on the app,” Yoon said. “So if you’re coming from outside of downtown, you can order ahead and hop out and pick up a cake.”
